If you’re a true Mavs fan you were up late last night watching this team fight (probably had to fight to hard against a short staffed team) the Portland Trailblazers. The two biggest takeaways from last night was Kyrie Irving leaving the game in a wheelchair and Dwight Powell’s problematic play style. In case you missed it after a Kyrie layup attempt Dwight Powell flies in just to be able to get a finger on the ball before Portland secured the rebound. In the process of barreling through the paint for no apparent reason he loses all control of his body and slams all of his body weight via his back directly onto Kyrie’s ankles and feet. What could have possibly been his thought process? He knows he wasn’t going to get that ball. He never fucking gets the ball.

Anyone that has watched the Mavs play over the last few seasons knows that our biggest weakness has always been Dwight Powell. The center position has never been on par with the rest of the league. You know it’s a problem when a team that makes the western conference finals brings in Javale McGee to become their new and improved starting center. Now obviously we have our new center of the future in Lively, and Maxi is hurt but Dwight should not be allowed to get onto the court anymore. He is a liability. He cannot score. He cannot rebound. He cannot defend. What is his purpose? As a center in the NBA he has only averaged 5 rebounds in three seasons.

Why is he still on an NBA roster? What is his purpose? Can someone, anyone, please tell me what blackmail he has on Mark Cuban? Is he no longer able to leverage the blackmail on Cuban now that he is no longer the owner? Is Richaun Holmes not better than Dwight? His averages are better in every category except for last season where he fell out of the rotation. Holmes can’t be worse on defense because Powell doesn’t help there either.

Maybe Dwight is the nicest guy ever and truly a great locker room guy. Who. Fucking. Cares. If we need a great locker room guy you can play the beloved Theo Pinson role and sit at the end of the bench and clap for your teammates. There is no place on the hardwood for an erratic useless waste of space like this.

At the time of writing this there is no update on Kyrie besides the fact that he was seen in the Trailblazers arena in a wheelchair. I’m not a doctor, but I’ve read webMD and diagnosis not fucking good. This team is already struggling to stay afloat with the heroics of Luka and Kyrie. I am not sure how the Mavs can justify letting Powell get onto the team plane and come back with the guys.

In college football teams have boosters to help fund getting rid of coaches they don’t like. If all the MFFL’s creat a go fund me page in order to raise enough money for his buyout can we get rid of Dwight? Would any Mavs fan have any complaints with this?

Nico Harrison I hope you’re a fielding every call to get rid of this man right now. I’m willing to take bad contracts back to get rid of him. If Kyrie misses significant time this is all on Dwight and he should be exiled. Prayers for Kyrie and I hope for a speeding recovery. Dwight go fuck yourself.
