I have previously written that the solution to Dak Prescott’s problem is the fact that he is going to become a girl dad and that will make a real man out of him, and handle some of his mental struggles.

What I wasn’t aware of is that Luka Doncic was on pace to become a girl dad even sooner. Last night one day after the birth of his daughter he went full Luka Magic and  put on an absolute basketball clinic. The Dallas Mavericks had no business competing with a team that has been really good so far this season while missing Kyrie, Josh Green, Tim Hardaway, Maxi, and Dante Exum (who also just had a daughter yesterday). That is a majority chunk of our playing time. The Mavericks had players that spend more time in the G league than on the actual roster play the most minutes of the bench. Generally that is a recipe for disaster. 

Luka simple doesn’t care about any of those factors. He has that famous quote “If you don’t believe you shouldn’t be here” and he continues to show you why. Going on a 30-0 run in the fourth quarter in a game where he played 46 out of 48 minutes is amazing. His box score of 36-15-18 should be terrifying to the rest of the NBA. He honestly should have had over 20 assists if he had a few better players around him. There is something that happens to athletes time and time again when they become girl dads, and Luka is proving it. Kobe Bean Bryant is probably the best example of how terrifying a girl dad can be.

I hope this Luka bump continues and I don’t see how it won’t. Luka is so young and about to blast off into orbit and maintain altitude that only Nikola Jokic is sailing at. 

Now this is clear proof for why the bump in Dak’s performance is no fluke, and the NFL should be scared for the foreseeable future. I am assuming in my brain that Dak found out the news that his girlfriend is pregnant after the 49ers game which led to his first bump in performance. Now that he knows he is going to have a daughter he has clearly been the front runner for the MVP award. 

I don’t know how I will be able to control my emotions in a year where the Mavs, Cowboys, and Rangers all win a championship in such a short time, but damnit I’m excited to find out.

Luka and Dak I would like to sincerely thank you guys for getting laid and having these babies. Congratulations boys.
